Handa Isle, barquentine, 261, Mathieson, from Newcastle. Mawhera, s.s., E. .Shaw, from Westport and way ports. Passengers: Miss Kennedy. "Uesdames Evans and child, Keelan and family, Williams and family, Woods and family, Messrs Baxendell, Williams, Woods, Keelan, and 3 steerage.
The barquentine Handa Isle arrived from Newcastle as we went to press, with a cargo of coal, after a passage of 18 days.
The s.s. Mawhera arrived at 445 p.m. today. She left Westport on the 7th inst. called at Picton, Napier, Gisborne and East Coast bays.
