EDEN GUN CLUB.
The Eden Gun Club opened the season on Saturday afternoon, when there was a good attendance of shootists, including Mr Bollard. M.H.R., president of. the institution, and anumber of visitors from the Northern and Onehunga Gun Clubs. Two sweeps were shot off during the afternoon, Major Morrow acting as umpire. The first sweep was won by Dr. Owen with a score of 24 points out of a possible 30, and the second one by Mr Severne with a similar score. A tie for second place between Messrs Strathern, Frost, and Grayson resulted in a win for Mr Fr&st, after a good contest. The follow* ing are the scores:— FIRST SWEEP. _ _ Points.
