THE OHAU INQUIRYY.
» (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Friday. The Ohau inquiry has concluded here. In the course of his evidence the Collector of Customs said that I Captain Brewer had told him that he would not load below the mark for anyone, even the Union Company. The vessel was loaded lighter than usual. Recently the Gertie and Moa had been reported to him as being overloaded. DUNEDIN, this day. The Union Company give an authoritative denial to a statement that the wives of two officers of the Ohau, living in Wellington, are in destitute circumstances or in bad health. With respect of a case of distress in Sydney the Company instructed its local agent to relieve her immediate necessities. A kinematograph performance here I realised £40 for the Ohau fund.
