THE OPERA HOUSE.
The dramaj of 'Forty Nine' was reproduced at the Opera House last night by the Maggie Moore-Roberts Company io a fair sized audience. ME ROBERTS' BENEFIT TO-NIGHT. To-night Mr H..R. Roberts, the clever actor, takes a benefit, when Robertson's famous comedy, 'David 'Garrick,' will be staged with Mr Roberts ns Garrick The amusing farce of 'The Chinese Question,' in which Miss Maggie Moore has gained a world-wide reputation, will also be produced. Special prices of 3/, 2/, and 1/ will be charged. Mr Roberts is a native of Auckland, and it is to be hoped that his friends and admirers will make the benefit a. substantial one The Garrison Band will meet at the Drill Shed, and march to the Opera House. The performance is under the patronage of the volunteers and New Zealand Natives' Association and Auckland Fire Brigade.
