THE PACIFIC CABLE.
OTTAWA, April 13
Sir. Charles Tapper, Leader of the Opposition, has congratulated Sir Wilfrid Laurier on his proposal to introduce a Bill giving the Government power to co-operate with Britain and. the Australasian colonies in constructing the Pacific cable, which, he says, will early prove a source of revenue.
