AVONDALE JOCKEY CLUB
Acceptances for all events of the Avondale Jockey Club's first day's programme are-due to-morrow night. Messrs Churton and Co.. also sell by auction the privileges for the meeting to-morrow at 12 o'clock. Trainers wishing to engage loose boxes on the course are requested to apply to the secretary. . . . . AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB. Yesterday afternoon the Autumn Handicap Trot, ordered to be again run by the committee of the Auckland Trotting Club, took place at Epsom. . Albert Victor and Bob E.T. were withdrawn, also Vola Glair. The starters were Empress, Hollywood, and Coralie. The last named, ridden by E. Sandall, was never headed thrpughout, the mile and a-half being covered in 4.25*.
