EASTER MONDAY.
A variety of holiday attractions are offered for Easter Monday. The A.R.C. races at Ellerslie and the volunteer sham-fight and review at Epsom will no doubt attract thousands of spectators. The present beautiful weather gives every promise of enjoyable water excursions on Monday. The p.s. Wakatere runs an excursion to the Thames in connection with the. Thames Foresters' sports on Monday. The s.s. Kawau will run a special excursion to Kawau; the s.s. Eose Casey will run to "Waiwera and Mahurangi Heads; and the s.s. Clansman will run to Cowes Baj% Waiheke. The s.s. Vivid is announced to run an "excursion to Eiverhead on Monday. The Devonport Ferry Co. have an attractive list of excursions for Pine Island, Motutapu, the fishing grounds, and elsewhere, particulars of which will be found in our advertising columns.
