Public Notices. BUBLIC NOTICE. The Education Board of the District of Auckland, March 28, 1899. In accordance with the provisions of 'The Education Act, 1877,' 'The Education Act, 1577, Amendment Act, 1885,' and 'The School Committees Election Act, 1891,' the Education Board Of the District of Auckland directs it to be publicly notified that Meetings of Householders in the several School Districts named in the Schedule hereunder will be held on MONDAY, APRIL 24, 1899, at the times and places respectively set forth in the said Schedule. And, in accordance with Section 69 of i 'The Education Act, 1877,' the Board has ; also appointed that the Committees of the several School Districts named in the said Schedule shall hold their First Meeting immediately after Election at the places respectively set forth therein. And further, in accordance with the provisions of 'The School Committees Election Act, 1891,' the Board hereby calls upon the Householders in each School District to send in writing, by post or delivery, so as to be delivered to the respective Chairmen of the several School Committees not later than eight o'clock in the evening of MONDAY, the 17th April, 1599 (being the third Monday in April); the names of persons being resident householders nominated by them for election to serve upon the Committee for the year next ensuing. Such Nominations shall be signed by the Proposer and by the Candidate, and shall be in the form set forth in the Schedule to the said last-named Act or to the effect thereof.
