THE NORTH SHORE CAMP.

There are about 300 volunteers, chiefly garrison artillery, in camp at the North Shore. The • Devonport Coastguard Artillery, Hauraki Rifles, and Thames Rifles, are in camp at Devonport, and the Naval Artillery.at Fort Cautley. Captain Mackenzie, R.A-, of the Permanent Force, is in command of all arms, while Captain Coyley R.E., is in charge of the submarine manes and the electric light. The Artillery are daily at the big guns in the forts, and are obtaining some very useful instruction. On Monday the Devonport Coastguards will go across the harbour and man the guns at the Bastion Fort, Kohimarama.
