Notwithstanding the threatening'; weather there was another crowded house last night to witness the second j; performance of the merry, inuaidal comedy 'A Gaiety Girl.' The piece went With spirit from start to finish, nearly every item being encored. It . is safe to prophesy that after a few more performances 'A Gaiety Girl' will be one of the best things in the extensive repertoire of the Company. It has all the essentials of A popular piece-^bright music, graceful d-incing, and intensely amusing comedy, 'llie characters fit Mr PollaM's clever young people, ana wheri the coasedy plays a little closer it will be a,a excellent production. Last evening MiS» Nellie Botthwick received a haadiome bouquet, which, by her daueiagy sh* had certainly gained. Mr Percy wag again a mainstay of the comedy, anq Miss Lily Stephens ehdwed pleasing improvement in the title role. Miss, Marie Metcalfe was also excellent. ; Misses Maud and May fieatty infused a large amount of life into their pafte^ and Miss Gertie Campion played the. French maid to the delif ht of the audience. The success of Mr FiMs in; the small' broad comedy part of &v- ,: guste was again a surprise t^. the audience. • : V
