THE WESTPORT FLOOD.

MUCH DAMAGE DONE,
WESTPORT, this day
The flood of last week did considerable damage throughout the Buller district. At Karamea. 60 miles north of Westnort, its effects were disastrous. A large new bridge across the Karamea River was swept away, also smaller . bridges and culverts. Many settlers' farms and homes were flooded and great damage was done to crops.
