MIDLAND RAILWAY CASE.

WELLINGTON, this day.
When application for leave to appeal in the Midland Railway Cast came on counsel for the Crown ob jected to leave being granted, and the court decided that, in face of there not being sufficient reason to permit an appeal to the Privy Council direct, leave would be refused.
