The New Zealand Rugby Union last night discussed a letter from the New South Wales Union respecting the amount of guarantee likely to be received from the New Zealand Union for the visit of the English team. It was decided to refer the question to the Auckland, Taranaki, Wellington, Canterbury, Otago and Southland Unions as to the assistance they may offer.
