N.Z. TALISMAN RETURN.
£ 2G91 FROM 585 TONS.
The return this time from the N.Z. Talisman mine is again very satisfactory. Although the total. i:._ not so large as the last one, this is due to the fact that owing to Hie holidays a less quantity of ore was treated. On the basis of the a vet age value per ton of the ore treated an improvement of one shilling per ton is shown this return. During the month of December in which the mill was stopped from the 22nd to the end of the month, 585 tons of ore were treated for a return of bullion worth £2,691, equivalent to an average value or £4 12/3 per ton. Crushing operations were resumed on the 2nd of January.
