The barque Mary Hasbrouck left New York tor this port on December 27, included in her cargo being 5250 cases kerosene.
Under date of December S, Messrs R. W. Forbes and Son report.—Last rates to New Zealand by sail were 20/ and primage. No vessels are now loading, and with nothing on hand for Australia and New Zealand, and no rates quoted, tuture transactions are pretty well oarred. Bucknali's line will despatch tne s.s. Ribston for Australia and New Zealand early in January, and the Tyser steamer Hawke's Bay sails about the same time tor the same ports. Their rate was advanced on November 1-1 to 17/0, and later to :_;>/ for light measurement and 35/ tor weigtu, all prepaid, with 10 per cent, primage. The partners of three out of four arms comprising the New York group are in London, and are believed to be in communication with Tyser's and Bueknau's lines to make permanent freight arrangements.
