WELLINGTON, Monday.
On the next trip of the Tutanekai round the lighthouses a photographer will go with her to take views of them.
It is rumoured that Mr Haselden, S.M., will replace Mr Eyre Kenny in Wellington.
The Hons. Walker, Thompson, and Hall-Jones held an executive meeting at Government House this morning in anticipation of the Governor's departure for the West Coast this evening. The business is aid to have been of a routine character.
Heavy rain in Palroerston North, Hawera, Wanganui, and country districts has seriously injured cix>ps. Rust is.said to prevail ii th> Falinerston district.
