FIRE IN CANTERBURY.

CHRISTCHURCH, this day.
Fire which* started from a threshing machine, at Brookside, burned six tic-res of MithelPs oats, fifteen acres of Taylor's oats, also gorse fences, a stable, store, harness, implements, etc. It was with the greatest difficulty that the latter's dwelling was saved. Mr Taylor estimates his loss at £400. He is uninsured.
