The Tyser steamer Indraghiri, which ar rived at Melbourne from London yesterday, proceeds to Sydney and then comes on tothis port, where she is due about August 2, Messrs Heather, Roberton, and Co. are the localagents for the vessel.

The s.s. Kia Ora, Captain Shaw, from Napier, Gisborne, and East Coast Bays, arrived at i p.m. to-day. At Crete Point a heavy S.W. gale accompanied by heavy sea sprang up, which necessitated the steamer putting back to Hick's Bay on 16th. She left Hick's Bay at 8 a.m. on 17th, and experienced strong westerly winds and high running sea till arrival off Alderman Islands. Thence moderate weather and calm sea to arrival.
