THE WAIHORA.
The s.s. Waihora arrived from the South yesterday afternoon. Mr G. Crawley, . the purser, reports that the vessel left Dunedin on Tuesday afternoon las':, and called at Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne, leaving the latter port at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, and berthing at the Queen-Street Wharf at 3.30 p.m. yesterday. Fine weather prevailed up to the Bast Cape, followed by strong head winds and sea crossing the Bay of Plenty, moderating as port was approached. • The Waihora leaves for Sydney at 5 o'clock this evening, taking with her the following passengers:—Misses Nood, Rosser (2), White, Sykes, Mesdames Osborne, Rhodes, White, Lilley, Messrs Osborne, White (2), Tilley, Hazlemaun, Leonard, Dell, McGregor, Wright, McLeod, Holmes, Griffiths, Chambers, W. McCorquodale and family, Hird, J. Beattie, H. Beattie, Worthington, Rosner, and family, Moir, H. McCorquodale, N. McCorquodale, and 30 steerage.
