Only two series of matches remain to be played in the first round for tho first and second fifteens' championships. To-morrow afternoon Suburbs will try their luck against Newton on No. 1 ground, while Ponsonby play City on No. 2 ground. Parnell cross the water to meet North Shore, Grafton standing out.
