LATE RACING.
At Messrs Hunter and Nolan's yard today the following racehorses were disposed of :—Ballyhooley, W. Hume, 19Ags ; Itch, T. Kempthorno, 16gs; Gipsy Prince, J. Selby, 25gs ; Amiable, J. Evans. 12trs : Tip, W. Andrews, llgs. The racehorses Yattenfeldt and Recruit ■were offered by auction to-day at Alfred Buckland and Sons, but they failed to find buyers.
REPORTED SALE OF WAIUKU.
It wai stated in town to-day that the racehorse Waiuku had been sold for 1,200g5. We learn from Mr J. J. Russell that the horse is under offer to an Australian sportsman for one month, but the sale is not yet completed.
