Mariposa Return
£402 FROM 302 TONS,
Cleaning up at this Kuaotunu mine resulted in bullion worth £402 being obtained from 302 tons of ore treated. The battery is being kept going steadily, and important development works aro in progress at bhe mine.
The Mines Department has notified the Coromandel County Council that no money is available for the purpose of assisting the Mariposa Company to sink the deep shaft to test tho low levels at Kuaotuna.
