LAKE HACK RACES
The Lake hack races held ou Saturday resulted:-—Hurdles: Kalo, 1; Karaka, 2; Andy, :i. Pony Race: Dick, 1; Topsail, 2; Sweetheart, 3. Maiden Plate: Snapper, 3; BuMiori, 2; Topsy, '.]. Autumn .Handicap, 1 tnile: Mark: inch (list 101b), 1; Kelvin drove (lOst 51b), 2; Manola (lOst 51b), 3. Won easily. In the Trot, Yuba Bill finished first, with North Shore second. A protest was lodged,and as three horses entered had not started, owing- to a misunderstanding, the committee, decided that the race should be run. over again, that all Ayngers should be cried off,and the money returned. The Flying Stakes was not decided, and with the Trot will be run off this week.
Nominations for all events of the Mangere and Suburban Trotting Club close on" Friday next, with Mr 11. 15. Massey.
