There was a splendid attendance for the second day of the Manawatu Racing Club's Summer Meeting. The weather was fine. The following are the results :— Summer Handicap.—Daunt, 1 ; Crimson Streak, 2 ; Indian Shot, 3. Won comfortably by a length. Time, -lnrin 17sec. Dividend, £2 l(js.
Electric Handicap.—Chasseur, 1; Boreas. 2; Flying Shot, 3. Won comfortably by over a length. Time, Imin32-ssee. Dividend, £3 10s.
Handicap Hurdles.—The Artist, 1; Rultador, 2; Dante, 3. Won by. a length. Time, 2min 25 l-sth sec. Dividend, £3 15s. The protest for alleged jambing and crossing in the straight was dismissed. . .
