Captain Edwin reports : Wind between northeast and north and west at all places during next twelve hours but changing to between north and west and southwest at all places south of Lyttelton and Hokitika after that time; barometer rise at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth fall everywhere else ; sea rough on western coast, south of New Plymouth, and on east coast southward of Castle Point. Tides good on western coast southward of New Plymouth, and on east coast south of East Cape. Strong northerly winds are to be expected at all places southward of Napier and New Plymouth.

The little boy who was so much admired as he walked down the street got his suit, from Ernest Moore, clothier and mercer, 240, Queen-street. Hundreds of hoys have been suited there since.—(Advt.)
