A satisfactory crushing has been completed by this leading Thames Company, the yield being over an oz per ton. The total amount of quartz treated was 260 tons, which returned 2690z 3dwt of bullion value £72S 19s. The quartz treated was taken from the Cardigan No. 2 lode at No. 6 level in the Saxon section of the mine. Stoping this reef is still going on.
