GOLDEN PAH.
A parcel of quartz crushed by this Coro- , mandel Company yielded bullion worth £21S Bs. A prospecting party uuder Mr J. Mallett also obtained £46 10s worth of bullion from a crushing out of this mine HAURAKI NORTH. A crushing of 74 tons of quartz treated during the four weeks ending November 20th yielded 250z 7dwts of bullion, value £6S 15s 3d. HAURAKI SOUTH. A trial of crushing of 10 tons of ore from the No. 1 and Magazine reefs in the upper workings has just been completed at the May Queen Extended battery at the Thames, for a return of 9oz odwts of gold value £28 4s 3d. JERSEY. The recent crushing of two tons for the yield of olozs of gold was got from a trench two chains long by 4 feet deep, and the small leader crosscut has now cut a leader about 15 feet below the surface of the trench.
SUCCESS. This company crushed a parcel of quartz for a return of bullion worth £108 6s.
