BUSH FIRES AT WHAREKERAUPONGA.
POST OFFICE AND STORE BURNED.

The Wharekeranponga Post Office and Fleming's store were burned down on Thursday. Bush fires have been raging there some days. The Royal Standard Company experienced great difficulty in saving a quantity of timber, the manager's house, and other buildings. Some 80 men were lighting the flames for hours.
