Competitors not on their marks at the proper time will be distanced. . 3. Competitors must send in colours with entries and past performances for three years. 4. All protests to be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes of the race protested on, and must be accompanied with 10s, to be retained by Committee if protest be not sustained, the Committee's decision to be final. 5. Races 8, 9, 10, and 11 are for members of the Auckland Cycle Club, and will be run under their rules. 6. No competitor will be allowed to run under an assumed name. Entries for all handicap events close at the Metropolitan Hotel on SATURDAY, December IS, 1597, at 9.30 p.m. General entries and acceptances on TUESDAY, January 4, IS9B, same time and place.
