LAPSED MEETINGS.
The annual meetings of the Fiery Cross, Prince of Wales, and Waihi Welcome G.M. Companies, adjournedfrom August4th till yesterday, in the office of Mr A. Hull, lapsed for want of quorums. The balancesheet showed the Fiery Cross receipts to have been £1,032 10s 2d, and the expenditure £994 0s 6d, leaving a credit balance of £38 9s Bd. The Prince of Wales receipts were £786 7s lid, and the expenditure left a balance of £219s 2d. The receipts of the Waihi Welcome amounted to £479 12s 4d, and the expenditure £459 18s 7d, leaving a balance in hand of £19 13s 9d.
