Friday.—Clansman arrives from Russell, at 6 a m.. and leaves for Tauranga at 7 p-m. ; Coromandel leaves for Waiheke at 9 a.m., and returns about 5 p.m. ; Wellington leaves for Whangarei, Marsden Point, Whangarei Heads, and Mangapai at 10.30 p.m. ; lona for Kuaotunu, Mercury Bay, and Kennedy's Bay at 9 p.m. ; Kanieri leaves for Waitara at 1 p.m. ; Glenelg leaves for Opunake and Wanganui at 1 p.m. Thames Service.—Steamers leave for Thanies, Paeroa, and Coromandel daily. The R.M.s. Moana left late last night for Sydney. The s.s. Hauroto sailed for Fiji last evening.

The schooner Ysabel is daily expected from the Phoenix and Friendly Groups.

The barriue Hertha arrived at Samoa from Port Natal on Wednesday, 20th ult.

The s.s. Waimate arrived at Napier from Auckland this morning to continue her loading for London.

The s.s. Orowaiti, under charter to Mr J. J. Craig, is now loading coal and coke at Greymouth for the Manukau.

The brigantine Linda Weber is expected to arrive about the end of this month from Earatonga, Bahnerston Island and Nuie.

The French cruiser Duguay Trouin was in port at San Francisco when the Moana left. She was to leave for Panama in about a fortnight.

The steamer Homer, in the French mail service betv/een San Francisco and Papeete, began her regular two-monthly trips on October 16. She will be followed on 13bh inst. by the Farallon, and these two steamers will carry the mail for the next year.
