AUSTRIAN PARLIAMENT.
A TUMULTUOUS SITTING.
VIENNA, October 31
The Austrian Reichsrath had a tumultuous sitting extending over 27 hours, owing to obstruction offered by the German minority in passing a law for extension of the Ausgleich. Strangers were excluded from the chamber during the whole sitting. The German members stonewalled the Ausgleigh proposals. Herr Lecher spoke 12 hours, other obstructionists meanwhile banging the desks and howling insulting epithets at the Chairman in order to pro* vide intervals of rest for the speakers.
