Drunkenness.—A first offender was convicted and discharged. Driving Round a Corner.—For driving a vehicle at other than a walking pace round a street corner John Shera was lined as.—Mr Turner, Traffic Inspector, prosecuted in this case.
A Foundling.—On the application of the Relieving Officer (Mr Strathern), a child named Victoria May, found under a verandah recently, was committed to the Auckland Industrial Home, as no trace had yet been obtained of the child's mother.
