THE OPTION ABANDONED.
Th e option over the Great Barrier Gold J Silver Company's property, held by £oi Syndicate, has been abandoned. Ss w iatcd to the directors of Hie r!lanvat a meeting held this morning, S3.li Mr W. D. Holgate presided. Syndicate spent £2,000 on the property S the term of their option According 1 the terms, the local shareholders L o sSve £10,000 cash and 50,000 JSL in the Company to be fanned The directors at the meeting edded'to make a call of twopence, payJTon 13th October. It was further decided to reduce the staff at the mine to three men and the mine manager. BROKEN HILLS MINE. Advice has been received that a complete on-head stamper battery and cyanide plant for lie Broken Hills mine has been shipped for Auckland in the s.s. Rangatira, which left London this week.
