LABOUR TROUBLES
THE ENGINEERS' LOCK OUT
London, September 27. The Federation of Employers in the engineering trade declares that its policy with regard to the demands of the workmen remains unaltered.
The sum of £30,000 was distributed as strike pay on Saturday amongst 24,500 engineers, 15,000 allied workers, 8,500 nonunionists, and 11,000 labourers.
