SOUTH WALES.

Great activity prevails in the timber industry at Clarence River. Two vessel* have sailed'with New Zealand Orders, while a large shipment of tallow wood has beon despatched to tho order of the Lancashire and Yorkshire railway company. Largo orders are also in hand for other English railway companies. In consequence of the increased oxport trade, hardwood has risen 2s per hundred feeb.
