Withdrawn.—ln the ca.e of Thomas _o-nolly,chargod with stealing moneys, bhe property of George E- White, of Devonport, Mr J. P. McAlistor stated thab no t.idence would be tendered by tho prassoator and he aßked thab bhe warrant lor arrest, which had nob been served, ibould bo returned to the Court. —Sergeant Clark eaid the police had nob served the .arrant and he handed ib in bo the Courb. -The caee was withdrawn.
..School Attendance. —Win. Howell was jlarged with having failed to send his lid to the nearest public school (Takapuna], and was fined 10- and casts, the Hue not to be enforced if defendant's child attended school regularly in future.—Mr Small, Trnanb Officer, appeared for bhe prosecution. Breaking Windows.—Arthur Allon, for breaking eight panes of glass, valued ab 33_, a& the Prison Gato Brigade Home in -.-.rcombie-sbrceb, was fined £5 or in debit two months' hard labour, bo follow tpon term of two months to which he was yesterday sentenced for a similar offonce. — Bail was allowed on tho completion of the tuo sentence in a personal surety of £50, tod two others of £25 each.
Traffic In'specior and Cabman.— Jojeph Johnston was charged on tho infornation of Thoa. C. Turner, Traffic Inspsctor, with having been guilty of misbehaviour while thedriverof a hackney carriage lie-rued in tho city, and also with having driver! round the corner of Welleslay and Qa.9__-i.reet.Bat other than a walking pace. -Thoa. G, Turner was charged by Joseph Johnston with having used threatening and prorokiat; language towards the latter.— Both C3aea were adjourned till Monday oesfc.
