WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
The ordinary meeting of the Waitemaba County Council was held to-day, Mr Bruce presiding, Notification was received from the Governmen. to the effecb that the eumi of £400 had been granted to tho Council for the construction of a track to tho public park in the Waitakerei Ranges.— In answer to a petibion from Lucas Creek residents for a portion of the county property at Lucas Creek for a hall site and a park, if; was decided to granb fche hall aibe. Considoracion of the park Bite was deferred, The following tenders were accepted :— For the supply and delivery of 150 yds of ecoria for the Waikomiti roads, S. G. Bray, 5b per yard ; construction of bridge ab Brigham's Creek, Hugh Fuller, £89 10^ for supply and delivery ot 120 cubic yards of broken metal at Theeb's Road, Waikomibi, Chas. Mills, 8s 2£d par yard. One bonder was received (3a 6d per yard) for carting 120 cubic yards of metal from Helonsviile, but was refused, being considered too higb-.
