Eaglehawk (Tararu). —1 am driving to cut No. 3 reef, and there are good indications that ib is near ab hand. The Kaiser reef has greatly improved and is coming direct towards our boundary. No. 1 reef haß widoned oub to a nice compact roof of 2ft, carrying fche very besfc class of minerals A bulk assay mado from this roef gave £3 lis to the ton. Gem of Hauraki.—No. 1 reef is a little split up, bub should come together again. The country shows very favourable for gold bearing. No. 2 reof is improving. Mata Reefs.—The drive to cub tho lode is still beicg proceeded with ; good progress has been made through a good class of,country. Rachel.—The level on the Arawata boundary is in 30ft. There is a strong how lof water in the face, which mo> be coming from a good sized reef.
