WAIKATO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.

Hamilton, this day. The annual meebing of tho Waikato Agricultural and Paßtoral Association took place ab Ohaupo yesterday. The retiring officers were ro-elected for the ensuing year, the only alteration being bhe addition of Messrs R. F. Lascollee, C. Day, and E. O. Shepherd bo the Com mittfee. Tha Secretary presented the report and balance sheet, which showed a credit balance of £54 6s lOd, while tbe assets showed t_ balance over liabilities amounting to £356, £60 having been spent in building a store room a few months ago. Tho report was considered mosb satisfactory. The Committee drew attention to the large amount of outstanding subscriptions, £95. It was decided to hold bhe next show at Claudelands on Wednesday and Thursday, October 27th and 28fch. ■ Mr Jos. Barugh wae appointed delegate to attend tbe Conference to be held in Dunedin in June next. It was agreed to fall in with the proposal of the Auckland Association wibh reference to adopting bhe colours of tho Royal Agricultural Society in England, in order bo have uniformity of colour throughout New Zealand.
