ARGO3Y.—No. 1 reef showed a few jolonra of gold during the pasb few days, and from the mineral indications a run of gold should ba gob in aofbor ground. Kenned?.— Tho tunnel haa been suaponded and work commenced above the creek, where the ground ia thick wibh ..ringers. Criterion.—Anobher reef has beon found near tho vtostern boundary which ia from 1 foot to 18 inches wide. Where cut loose prospects can be trot by washing. Rothschild.—ln tho low level another leader aboub 4 inchea thick has been passed through. Dawn of. Hope.—The drive is in a distance oi 203 ft. Native Chief.—The reef has decreased in size, but colours of gold were gob ab last breaking down. Morning Star,—Tho low level ia now in 70ft and indications continue to be favourable. No. 4 reef has been driven .through and proves it fco bo a good body of Jtone rather more than 6ft thick. Great Northern (Waihi). — As the guprtz formation in the low level appears of an immense siza, and with no presenb indication of the foobwall, I am baking a j torn to the west, which will lessen the distance to the old wall. New Monster.—The lender shows signs of improving. The 4fb reef shows a few colours of gold to bho naked eye. Boss.—No. 2 drive i* now in 108 feeb. In No. 3 drive the ground is getting solid -fl-atill keeping improving in appearance. Gold should bo met here coon by the looks of general indications. Silas.—Good progress is being made with the extension of the drive to intersect the reef, A parcel of ebonc taken from the outcrop was gent for assay to Mr J. Kitchener 'Wilson, tho rosult being £117- lOd per bon. Matauxa (Waihi.)—There is a leader .-bout three or four inches wide running Ihe aacio course as bhe drive It ia nice looking stone. Maioro (Coromandel.)—Tho men have tone a large amount of trenching and inrface prospecting. The drive on bho new «ef in the southern end of the ground is in ft feet.
