Carnage (Kuaocunu).—Low lerel: The drive hai been extended 4ft for the week on the easterly course of the reef. Commenced driving weal), and this face has been extended Gft. The ground is of a favourable kind for gold. Rothschild (Karangahake). —The low level has been extended cix feeb' for week, and is mow in 153 feet). Two small mineralised veins were cub daring the week.
Criterion (Coromandel).—-Low level.No. 2 reef : The drive is in 132 feet. The country is of the earns description aa last reported.
Waitekatjri King.—The drive is now in 467 i feet. There has bsen a chance in the ground this week, and the hard bar seems to be running out, with the result that much easier shooting ground is taking its place.
