QUEEN OF BEAUTY.
The ordinary general meeting of the Qneen of Beauty G.M. Company was to have been held this afternoon at the office of Mr H. Gilfillao, bub lapsed for want of a quorum. Tho statement of accounts for the half-year ending December 31st, 1596, showed receipts totalling £960, while the expenditure left the substantial cash balance in hsnd of £423 0s lOd. The report stated that favourable progress had been made by the holder or the option, Mr Greenslade, with the negotiations for the sale of the property.which.it was hoped would soon be concluded.
