Merloolae, who is engaged in the Newmarket Handicap and Australian Cup, ia thus referred to by a Queensland authority :—" Further information received from the North concerning the Towers Summer Meeting makes ib appear that) the double winner, Marloolas, who sprang such a surprise, is regarded as the best horae that has ever boen seen under rncing colours in the northern parts of Queensland.
