BOSHETS COMMITTED FOR TRIAL.

Wellington, Tuesday. The hearing of bhe charge of murder against Bosher came to an end bo-day. A witness deposed that the accused had told him he had received permission from Inspector Peoder to carry arms, as he had been waylaid at night, and showed him a aheabh knife, which he carried inside his coab. Inspector Pender went into the box, and denied he had received any euch ap plication or given permission. Counsel for the defence urged there was no more a case ag&insb the prisenar tban against Shore. He hinted that come third person might yet be arrested. The Magistrate considered the case ought to go bo a jury. A series of email matters had been proved so distinctly as bo poinb bo Bosher. The defence was reserved, and bhe accused was committed for trial.
