Bell Rock.—Stone from the No. 3 level, taken right across bhe face of the reef, when assayed, yielded ab the rabe cf £2 2s per ton. Silas.—Near to the ArgOßy boundary there are a number of reefs showing on the surface, and as gold has been gob on some of the lodes, there is a good chance of meeting with something of importance aboub bhis locality. Lioness (Te Aroha).—The men are opening cut on the big reef, which is looking well. Ib is composed of a nice white class of quartz carrying a good percentage of geld, We can see bhe gold quite freely and it should assay well. Golden Link.—Tho new reef is 3 feeb wide and gives very good prospects of gold. This reef is improving very much and all the quartz being saved for treatment. A start has been made to drive on a smaller reef which also gives good prospects. Kalser.—Ab tho road level bhe No. 2or Eagle Hawk reef ehoeld be cub in another 40 feeb of driving. - Bunker's Hill.—Since resuming operations underground after the water was taken out work has been confined to the No. 1 reef upon the No. 2 level. Tho breaking down of tho quartz stripped in the winze waß undertaken with the result that the reof proved to be a compact body of stone two feeb six inches id widbh, and carrying gold tor bhe entire distance. The reef has a promising appearance, and should make stone et any time. In bho second stope upon No. 1 reef -he country penetrated is
all thab could be desired. The reef looks well for gold. Work has not boen resumed in the crosscut to tbe flow of water being yeb too great.
