INCREASE OF WAGE 3.

Wellington, thia day. A deputation of engineers has interviewed Mr Mills, general manager of tha Union Steamship Company ab Dunedin, relative to anincreaee of wages, which werereduced ten per cent in 1593. Mr Mills has agreed io reinstate the old rate?, which are: Chief engineers, £20 to £25 ; second, £16 to £1S; third, £13 ; lourtb, £12 per month.
