A NATIVE TROUBLE.
London, January 24.
Reports from South Africa state thab numbers of natives in Rhodesia as dying of starvation. They havo oaton all the seed corn, and carcases of cattle which were destroyed because they wero suffering from rinderpest. Ib is also reported that rich deposits of coal have been discovered in Khama's territory, close to the liuluwayo railway line.
The natives of Bonnyon, Wosb Coasb of Africa, having deposed thoir chieftain, the British Consul reinstated him, with the result that tho natives threaten to murder tho Consul, and tho latter ha? requested the authorities to 6end a gunboat to bis assis banco.
