NIGER TERRITORY.

THE TOWN DESTROYED.
London, January 25. Reports from Niger territory state that tribes under the King of Nupe, in the district between Lakoja and Bajibo, joined the forces o. the Royal Niger Company.
A sharp fight occurred at Shongo, the remnant of the Fulahs being ejected and the town destroyed.
Moore, who was returning to the Niger, joined H.M.S. Thesus at Las Palmas, and proceeds to Forcaldos, the entry for large vessels at Benin.
