WAITEKAURI.
A dividend of ls per share has been declared in the Waitekauri G.M. Co. CROWN ROYAL. '* The ordinary half-yearly meeting of the Crown Royal Goldminine Company, Tapu, was held so-day in Mr Stubbs' office, Mr John Abbott presiding. The principal business was the presentation of the balance-sheet, which showed the receipts of the company to have been £250, and the expenditure £199 16s 6d, leaving a balance of £50 3s 6d in the bank. The balancesheet was adopted. KARAKA QUEEN. The manager telegraphed this afternoon: " Broke down the main lode to-day. Gold is freely distributed through the quartz. Tha reef is four feet thick. Strong gold is showing in the face and floor of tbe drive."
